New 2nd Generation Model. Now Available. New features, higher amps, and more. See Features Tab.
PROFORM's 2nd Gen. controller substantially reduces amperage spikes, excessive fan wear, and undesired fan noise that many other fan controllers actually cause. These other controllers turn the fan on to full power when the engine is getting too hot and power it off as soon as the temperature is sufficient, wasting energy and shortening part of life. Maintaining a consistent engine temperature is a more efficient way to keep your engine cool. The variable speed fan controller maintains this efficiency by powering either one or two 12-volt, brushed motor electric fans to run with varying RPMs at whatever speed is needed to maintain a consistent temperature. The fan controller processes a temperature signal from the radiator from a brass probe (push-in and thread-in are included). As the engine approaches the maximum desired temperature, the controller soft starts the engine fan(s) and slowly ramps up to the required speed needed to maintain that temperature. The controller is protected by a weather-resistant, billet aluminum housing that's built to last! The bright digital display is easy to read and use. Mode button toggles between Fahrenheit, Celsius, and live fan(s) amperage usage. Set the temperature with + or – buttons. Mounting hardware and necessary electrical wire bundle is also included.
